Lately the minister of the environment said that we need to cut our use of greenhouse gas by 30%. My friends don’t know what that means. So I explained if you have three light bulbs in your kitchen then you can have light #1 and #2 on, and #3 off. The next week you turn light #1 off and turn #2 on and so on. They said when they turn on the switch that all three lights go on. So I suggested they rewire the kitchen and put in three switches. So my recommendation is for everyone to rewire their kitchens.- Mr. Bright the Light Man
Recently the pop singer Sheryl Crow has encouraged everyone to limit toilet paper use to one square in order to save the environment. My enhancement to that is to use a reusable cloth square of toilet cloth that would be washed with a detergent bar that you would carry on your person at all times. I think this would make a significant difference to the environment. - Toilet Conscious
A recent discovery is that global warming may occur in particles as small as photons. These little particles of heat are also responsible for much of the sun’s heat. My idea is to change the shape of the photon so that it is not so hot. Since photons are round by nature I think we should try cubic shapes. With the advent of string theory, the intelligent manipulation of the right strings could affect the changes required. - In love with Photons
My recommendation would be that Al Gore donates the entire $40,000,000 he made with his video to put a stop to global warming. He should also turn the lights off in his four mansions. With the amount of pollution caused by the thousands of people driving to his lectures, you could build a carbon footprint taller than the Empire state building. Perhaps this could be a tourist attraction that could generate further revenue to help fight global warming. Al Gore Supporter and proud of it!
The Morelocks in H.G. Wells story “Time Machine,” may have the perfect answer to solving the world’s global warming problem, namely to live underground and to occasionally come to the surface for food. In that world the atmosphere was pollution free and the earth was lush with fine green vegetation and food. So I think that may the answer. We wouldn’t need to have Eloi living on the surface though because they could possible create some harmful pollution although they never had any houses, stoves or factories. - Joe Morelock
