| We are the umbrella organization for Environment Canada. We produce a quality line of umbrellas which are sun resistant. Funding has been approved for our Montreal firm to produce umbrellas capable of reflecting not only the sun but anything else that could cause environmental damage. As a government agency we unfortunately can’t qualify for the 25 million dollar prize.

| We think everyone can make a difference in cleaning up the environment. Every little bit helps. So to this end our church group organized a bake sale to raise money for global warming awareness. We found a popular selling items was little chocolate cookies the shape of a foot with white icing between the wafers. We called them carbon footprints. | Global warming is causing new species of animals to appear around the globe and that’s a real problem. I mean how do you cook a planimal which is a cross between a vegetable and an animal? I think if somehow we can stop animals from evolving then we will also stop global warming. Animals cause a lot of pollution anyway. So maybe eating them all is the answer. - Joe Carnivorus |
| I think smoking may be the answer. Smokers suck greenhouse gas through their cigarettes. The cigarette acts like a filter which extracts the greenhouse gas from the air. Then when the smoker exhales, the resulting air is a little cleaner because the filter action of the cigarette has gotten rid of some of the pollutants. Thus smoking should become mandatory. | The nutrition people in schools have completely missed the boat and my suggestion is based on their misinformation. They say not to drink so many soft drinks, but everybody knows soft drinks are fizzy because of carbon dioxide. It should be mandatory for all school kids to drink at least ten soft drinks per day and that way we can get rid of tons of carbon dioxide just by drinking it. - C Cola, CA |
| Lately the wife and I have been getting very concerned with global warming and greenhouse gas. I think the two are related like cousins. We have noticed that global warming heats up the water from our taps. Also greenhouse gas gives it a funny taste. So now I pipe my so called cold water through the fridge and that cools it right down. The taste seems to be improved too. So that’s what I would recommend. Concerned Farmer in RI |
