When we were kids we used to catch flies with sticky yellow fly paper hung from the ceiling in giant strips. This would make carbon particles stick to the paper. The strips wouldn't have to be yellow. Green is probably good too and very fashionable. . - The Fly
If China can knock a satellite out with a laser beam, then maybe they can develop a system consisting of thousands of laser beams to zap all the carbon particles. This process would be very fast because light moves very quickly. - Janet in Oklahoma
Maybe everyone should wear special carbon attractors on their head. It would look like a rubber hat with an antenna sticking out of it. The antenna would direct people to where the carbon particles are and then they can be vacuumed. With six billion people in the world imagine how fast we could clean everything up! - Ooga Booga
There should be human free zones just like in the cities where they have car free zones. If all of China moves to the USA then the pollution in China would stop. It would not be a problem in the USA because we have strict coal laws here. - Dreamer in WA
Maybe they can make use of the ozone shield to suck carbon out through that hole. Then the carbon would form a giant shell around the earth and help to block the sun to reduce the Global Warming effect. Also then we would not need satellites anymore because TV signals could be bounced off the carbon shield. - Engineering genius in Tokyo |
The world is really a joint creation of all our subconscious minds. It’s like a big dream. When someone dies they do not really die because they never existed in the first place. So none of us exist and hence there is no problem. - the oracle
A new chemical process could make smog heavier like heavy water. We just have to bombard smoke with extra carbon isotopes. Then the smoke will just fall to the ground where we can sweep it up and send it to a recycling plant. - Frank T.
A tree can suck up large amounts of carbon. So each person should have a tree and each car should have a tree. Maybe we can just put wheels on trees and then the tree will automatically suck up its own pollution. - Danielle G.
