How would you solve the greenhouse gas problem?

The solution to cleaning up the environment will come from the stimulation of young minds. To this end our daycare program has come up with an innovative idea based the concept of the Mexican piñata. We hang little green balls filled with treats from the ceiling. We tell the children that this is greenhouse gas and that greenhouse gas is bad. Then the children hit the green balls to get rewarded with a shower of candies. We have found that children as young as 2 years old get the concept of getting rid of greenhouse gas.. - Miss Hanna - day care teacher
It is now an established fact that smoking causes much of the greenhouse gas pollution. . Our city council in Greenville has come up with a solution to environmental cleanup by making cigarettes a prescription only product and furthermore cigarette’s can only be obtained at the local hospital. This has the added effect of generating much needed hospital revenues and other revenues that can support similar cleanup initiatives. Doctors and environmental activists everywhere herald this move as a good thing. - John Taylor - Greenville
It has come to light that Britain’s antismoking laws have actually contributed to the environmental problem. According to the BBC , Britain's greenhouse gas emissions are up by 380,000 tonnes a year due to patio heaters which prevent smokers from freezing their ***** off. My solution to this problem is to move these heaters inside along with the smokers and to move the drinkers outside. - The Earl of Worchestershire
I recommend that we have a breathing tax to help clean up the environment. Obviously athletes and larger people should be taxed higher than babies, old people and couch potatoes who minimally stress the environment with their breathing habits. The local power utility can easily install breathing monitors inside of every house to track breath caused co2 emissions. People will try to get around paying this tax by mostly breathing outdoors but perhaps mandatory breath monitors could be solution to this? - Concerned
According to the February 2007 New Scientist , two people have submitted official proposals to claim the 25 million dollar prize for environmental cleanup. One wants to dump sewage into the ocean which will promote the growth of plankton which loves Co2. The other plans to dump tons of scrap metal into the ocean to do the same thing. Apparently plankton really likes sewage, Co2 and iron. Based on this, my idea is to convert the ocean into a huge sewer and garbage dump which should clean up the atmosphere quickly. Since all rivers drain into the ocean, there is a natural transport system for the entire world’s waste. - Roger Ebert , EWS Inc.
