The American war on Global Warming has been going on for more than a decade now with no good results. In fact the problem is worse than ever before. The longer the war lasts the worse the situation gets. So I think we need to cut back and put a stop to this war. It really is a no-win situation. We have spent billions so far that can be better spent elsewhere. I forget, was I talking about Global Warming or Iraq or Afghanistan or what? - Senator Brown
Well the thing that bugs me about fluorescent bulbs is that they don’t fry those darn flies like incandescent bulbs do. Fortunately we don’t believe in banning guns around here. I can pick off a fly from about 100 feet. I only wish that cleaning up the atmosphere could be as easy as shooting something. At least that’s how we cleaned up the neighborhood around here. - Red Neque in CA
All you guys are stupid and global warming doesn't even exist..so stop trying to win the money unless you are some sort of genius! which obviously none of you are!!! - Cassie, CA
The way to win this contest is easy. My suggestion is make all kinds of new taxes or "Green Fees" (not golf). Charge money every time someone breathes, or uses a light switch or does anything that uses any product. For those toxic fluorescent bulbs, charge a deposit and a recycling fee. In fact, charge a recycling fee for anything anyone buys. Now that the government has finally woken up and seen the potential revenue possible from Global Warming taxes, hire David Suzuki and others like him to scare people big time into blindly accepting the new lucrative taxes. This could catch on world-wide. Where's my prize? - Tax A Million!
Since the major greenhouse gas is just plain water vapor, all we have to do is remove all the water vapor out of the atmosphere. So everybody with a dehumidifier should set them out in their yard and run them 24/7. Where do I pick up my $25 mil?? - Whitie in MN
I am proposing that we keep our vacuum cleaners turned on day and night to suck carbon particles out of the air. When the vacuum cleaner bags are full of carbon, we can send these to recycling plants where the bags are compressed to make carbon footprints. These can be sold to Chinese coal factories for a handy profit because they need lots of carbon for their factories. In this way we clean up the environment in the Western world while making a substantial profit. - M. Hoover - Canada
