How would you solve the greenhouse gas problem?

I think it is a good thing what oil companies will be doing which is to raise the price of oil to take care of the costs associated with emission caused environmental damage. With their plan to build an extra profit into this, they would profit not only financially but would generate a realistic amount of money to clean up the environment. Global Warming might be the best thing that has happened to not only oil company profits, but also for the green movement of the world. - Mr. Green
Using carbon trading as a means of reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a very good idea. I used to trade baseball cards so I know. The only thing is the USA has to make sure they trade a barrel of greenhouse gas for something good. There must be something that the USA president needs? - Lynda in Spokane
Yesterday at the bar they were serving this greenhouse beer while captain Kyoto played the accordion. So I was thinking if we drink enough of that kind of beer then we won't notice the problem as much. I also know that the CO2 in a coke just disappears when you leave it out in the sun. So the sun can naturally get rid of CO2. - Patty McL.
These days there is a lot of tax funded research which may never have a practical application. If greenhouse gas really was the problem that scientists and many politicians think it is, then all scientists should stop what they are doing and make a concerted focused effort to work on the problem of getting rid of greenhouse gas. - Mr. TaxPayer
I am very concerned about the impact of pollutants sent into the atmosphere by the CD factories operating in sweatshops around the world. Secondly the action of laser beams which read the CD’s every time you play them, also give off further Cancer causing particles. I think legislation is in order to limit the amount of individual play time and to close down some of these factories. Now with the ability to download music from the Internet, there is no more need for CDs. - Stamp out Plastic!
I think that greenhouse gas should be traded on the stock market. Then we can track the price of greenhouse gas and know right away if there is more or less greenhouse gas available. If the price goes up then there would be less greenhouse gas which would be good for investors and for the environment. - SAP
